September-9-2010 Morning Notes - A lot of data and news released across the globe this morning, seemed generally positive - Jobs report in Australia: -5.1%, much better than expected - Jobs data pushed AUS/USD to 4 month highs - Korea left interest rates unch'd as it wants to stabilize inflation and a slowing economic recovery in the US - UK trade balance came in at -8.7B, marking largest deficit ever - Pushed Pound lower - ECB governor said seeing first signs of broad based recovery in the EU - Overseas mkts up across the board (except Shanghai Comp) - Initial Jobless Claims: 451K vs. 470K; prior revised to 478K vs. 472K - Continuing Claims: 4.478M vs. 4.445M; prior revised to 4.480M from 4.456 - July Trade Balance: -$42.8B vs. -$47.3B; prior revised to -$49.8B from -$49.9B - Futures rally to new highs off jobless claims data Visit HedgeFundLIVE.com.
